It doesn't get more rural than here. In a close knit Andalusian
community, were the pace is set by nature and the many fiestas and most labor is geared towards and around maintaining, pampering and
harvesting the fruits of the olive, orange, lemon, clementine,
pomegranate, almond and peach trees. Where everybody is growing
vegetables and where the shepherd leads his flock of goats in cacophony of bells twice a day through the village.
Where each sound disturbs noticeably the silence.
The baker, the butcher, the fish monger and the fruit and veg man
deliver their goods to the door. All shops and facilities are nearby.
At the same time you are only a 45 minutes drive from Malaga Airport,
the hustle and bustle from the Costa del Sol and the seaside.
The house is part of the hamlet or cortijo on the
outside ring, with all the buildings arranged around the central plaza.
Three years ago it was completely refurbished and modernized, although
some of the decoration needs a bit of attention. I love this house and
this village and I am very sad that I have to let it go for economic
reasons. Such is life. But I really hope someone falls in love with it
like I did and still do love it.
